Leslye Sneider's Bio:
Leslye is a 56 year old woman with dwarfism who lives in New Mexico with her partner Bruce, and Jasper (pony), Bodhi (mini horse), Wylie (obnoxiuos Chiweenie), and Roxie (lovable Shih Tzu). She grew up in Maine and has lived in D.C, L.A., Boston, Hawaii, Portland (OR) and Albquerque. She is a graduate of UCLA.
In her first half, she worked for several years in nonprofit advocacy and administration. Now she is a rancher, caretaker and exploring making art.
Leslye is a lifetime member of Little People of America (LPA) and in a long-term relationship with Bruce Johnson, who is also an artist with dwarfism and a graduate of UHI and CA College of the Arts.
She loves people, animals, art, LPA, New Mexico and her circle of friends. She is especially drawn to bright siny objects and vivid color and recently satrted to do bead work, mobiles and collage. She also loves people who are witty and intelligent.
In one of her favorite gigs, she managed an alternative bookstore and cultural center in Santa Monic, CA. She has many fond memories of the great times she experienced in greater L.A.
She recently started a business, Leslye Sneider Creative, and her work is on Facebook. She could write a book about the people she's met and the places she's seen, but she doesn't have the will to sit alone all day at the computer. She has posted several pictures on Facebook which tell her story.
